What helps us most

None of it is required. Each one moves the answer from a guess to a number.

  • The viewing distanceScale is set by where people stand, not by the size of the plot. It is the single most useful thing you can tell us.
  • A site plan or a photographEven a phone photo with something familiar in frame for scale.
  • The programmeThe date it must be on site, not the date you would like the quote.
  • ExposureCoastal, de-icing salt, freeze-thaw. These decide the material more often than taste does.
  • Who designs the foundationWe issue the loading plan; somebody local designs to it. Knowing who saves a fortnight.
  • A budget bandNot a number — a band. It changes what we propose, not what we charge.
