Cookie policy
No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking. Three strictly necessary items, analytics only if you agree, and two things kept in your own browser that never reach us.

1. The short version
This website sets no cookies for advertising and none for tracking you across other websites. It uses a small number of strictly necessary items, and analytics only if you agree to them.
2. Strictly necessary — no consent required
| What | Set by | Why | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
dz_preview | This site | Set only for logged-in editors previewing an unpublished page. Never set for a visitor. | 30 minutes |
| Consent choice | This site | Remembers whether you accepted analytics, so you are not asked again. | [6 months — TO CONFIRM] |
These are exempt from the consent requirement under PECR reg. 6(4) because the service you asked for cannot be provided without them.
3. Analytics — only with your consent
If you agree, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful and where people give up. It sets an identifier that distinguishes one browser from another. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not join it to anything you send us through a form.
If you decline, no analytics script is loaded at all — not loaded and disabled, but not loaded.
[TO CONFIRM: GA4 data retention setting, whether IP anonymisation and Google Signals are on or off, and the transfer mechanism for the resulting data.]
4. What this site does not do
- No advertising or remarketing pixels.
- No cross-site tracking, and no data broker or audience-building tags.
- No embedded map, video or social widget that loads before you have agreed to it. Where we would otherwise embed something third-party — a map on the contact page, a review widget on the homepage — we link to it or show a placeholder you have to activate, so nothing is set behind your back.
5. Things stored on your device that are not cookies
Two features use your browser's own storage rather than cookies. Neither is transmitted to us, and neither can be read by any other website.
- Your enquiry list — the pieces you save while browsing, kept in
localStorageso they are still there on your next visit. It reaches us only if you send it with a quote request. - A part-finished quote form — kept in
sessionStorageso a refresh does not lose six steps of typing. It is discarded when you close the tab.
Clearing site data in your browser removes both.
6. Changing your mind
You can withdraw consent to analytics at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer, and your browser's own settings will block or delete cookies from this site entirely. Blocking the strictly necessary items may stop the contact and quote forms working.
